We are working on promoting the Woodland-Trust.

The Woodland-Trust is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity, dedicated to the protection of our native woodland heritage.

Their key aims are:

• No further loss of ancient woodland
• Improving the biodiversity of our woods
• Increasing and restoring native woodland
• Increasing people’s awareness and enjoyment of woodland

How are donations used?

• With £10 we can plant and maintain a tree on a Woodland-trust site.
• £15 will sponsor a child to experience a school woodland discovery event.
• £3000 buys an acre of land to turn into woodland.
• All funds raised go towards planting trees and giving children the joy of experiencing nature “hands on”.
